Sheila Reed is the newly elected President of the West Fargo Auxiliary. Sheila is a 1984 graduate from Linton High School and continued her education at North Dakota State University. She has been married to Brad for 30yrs and have lived in West Fargo since 1984. Together they have one son, Logan Reed of West Fargo. She had worked for Lifetouch in management for 21 years and has been with Microsoft since 2013. She joined the West Fargo VFW Post 7564 Auxiliary as a Life Member under her husband who served in Operation Desert Storm 1990-91. Sheila has been actively volunteering since 2012 at the Post. She has served in multiple positions in the Auxiliary and most recently held the office of Senior Vice President for the last two years. Additional committee appointments are co-chairman for the Membership Committee and the Voice of Democracy program. She also has chaired the hamburger committee for 2 years where you can find her cooking them most Saturday’s at the Post. When she is not volunteering at the VFW, you will find her capturing memories thru the lens of her camera or riding on the back of a Harley motorcycle with her husband Brad.
The Auxiliary meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month
at 7:00 p.m. at the VFW Club, lower level.
Our Post was first organized on January 23, 1956. Auxiliary VFW Members are….. spouses, widows, widowers, mothers, fathers, and step parents (who have performed the duties of parent), grandparents, sons, daughters, grandchildren, foster and stepchildren (who attained that status prior to the age of sixteen and for whom the duties of parent were
performed), brothers, sisters, half brothers and sisters of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Members must be citizens of the United States and not less than sixteen years old.
