The Great Outdoors’ focus is on danceable Country music, Southern Rock, and get your body moving 80’s Rock N Roll, along with some soulful Rhythm and Blues. The band loves it when the crowd gets going on the dance floor and strives to keep them there. The band can shift easily from Classic Country hits by Merle Haggard , Alabama, and Johnny Cash to today’s New country artists like Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, and Zac Brown Band. Fiddle music the likes of The Charlie Daniels Band will keep folks on the edge of their seats. As the night progresses, you can hear tunes from Tom Petty, Wilson Pickett, John (Cougar) Mellencamp, and even Puddle Of Mudd.

Traditional, classic country music is alive and well! With their name taken from the 1971 Lefty Frizzell song, The Honky – Tonk Stardust Cowboys do indeed,” play the country tunes of bygone days”. The band is one of the very few in central Minnesota preforming traditional country music in the spirit and sound of the original recordings. Their song list includes classic hits from artists such as: Loretta Lynn, Rosanne Cash ,Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker and many more as well as a number of early rock and roll songs.
