DANCE HALL rent is $300.00 for members of Post 7564 (bride, groom or parents of) or $350.00 for non-members. Hall rental includes security fee. This must be paid two weeks after you decide to book with us. A six month advance notice is required in order to receive a hall rental refund.
CASH BAR is included in the initial hall rent. If you would like to offer something to your guests the following options are available: (At the discretion of the management if the sales on the cash bar for the dance/ reception).
CHAMPAGNE TABLE $90.00 per case of 12 bottles. You may bring in your own glasses, or we have plastic stemmed champagne glasses at twenty cents apiece. Other wines are available upon request. Non-alcoholic wines are also available.
DRINK TICKETS $3.00 per ticket which are good for beer, well and rail drinks, or pop. You choose the amount needed and pass them out to your guests.
ALL BAR REFRESHENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE VFW. No outside refreshments are allowed in the hall. Kegs are not allowed.
ANYONE PLANNING ON DRINKING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE PROPER IDENTIFICATION AVAILABLE. MAKE SURE EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY IS INFORMED OF THIS (INCLUDING BRIDE & GROOM). MINORS MAY ATTEND EVENTS BUT ARE NOT TO BE CONSUMING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. SECURITY OR BARTENDERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE NOT ADHERING TO OUR POLICIES.
LAST CALL AND LAST DANCE IS AT 12:30 AM. THE BUILDING MUST BE VACATED AT 1:00 AM. SHARP. You hire your own band or DJ and take care of payment. DJís are PROHIBITED from using a smoke or fogger because they set off the fire alarm. Please remind your entertainment group that other functions are taking place in the building and music volume be kept at a reasonable level.
CONFETTI, GLITTER and SOAP BUBBLES ARE NOT ALLOWED. NO DECORATIONS ARE TO BE HUNG ON THE WALLS OR FROM THE CEILING TILES. Floating candles or enclosed candles in vases or votives are acceptable for decorating. No open flame candles are allowed on tables (if the flame of the candle, when lit, is higher than the container this will be considered an open flame candle and may not be used on the tables). If you want to save any decorations they must be removed the night of your dance or they will be discarded. Clean up is done by our crew.
